How to send SMS instead of iMessage
Actually all functionality is the same for both SMS and iMessage. The only difference is that iMessage is sent when the recipient has an Apple device and SMS is sent when the recipient has an Android device or when the recipient's iMessage is not available.
To change that, just disable iMessage in the settings of the connected device.
How to send iMessage or SMS
In Settings > Messages you can enable use SMS when iMessage is not available. If you enable this option, Texting Blue will automatically send SMS when iMessage is not available. If you disable this option, Texting Blue will not send any message when iMessage is not available.
